Your Project
I. Design
Beginning a new project is always an exciting moment! Harry and Hugh have a wealth of knowledge on offer to guide your design, and you are welcome to be just as involved with the details as you would like. By arranging to visit you or working from photos, drawings and measurements, Harry and Hugh will help to develop your ideas into a final design that combines aesthetics, fit and functionality.
II. Materials
Materials are sourced as locally as possible and with sustainability in mind, so once your design has been finalised you’re welcome to join Harry and Hugh as they visit local sawmills to select the timber for your project. The natural, individual features of each piece of wood will give the finished piece a real sense of character.
III. Construction
You're invited to arrange visits to The Otter Workshop during the construction of your piece. This provides an opportunity for you to find out more about the traditional techniques employed, and offers a chance to discuss any tweaks to the design as the piece comes to life.
IIII. Delivery
Once your piece is complete, it will be ready for you to collect from The Otter Workshop or can be carefully packed and delivered to its new home!
